We have compiled this list of questions that clients often ask and we are constantly adding to it! Don't hesitate to reach out with questions you can't find on this page!
Gallery turnaround time varies depending on the type of photography service you require. For portrait sessions, you will typically have your final photos within 3-4 weeks. For non-wedding events, galleries are typically delivered in 6-8 weeks. For weddings, it may take up to 3-4 months until the last of your completed photos are delivered. Weddings are delivered to you in chunks based on the day's events (Getting ready, First look, Ceremony, Reception, etc) so you will have multiple delivery days.
All of these time frames are approximate and what I would consider my "time to beat" but I also have two small children of my own and sometimes life puts me behind schedule. I ALWAYS strive to get clients their photos as soon as possible but maintaining the highest quality in my editing is my number one priority and I will never rush and compromise those quality standards.
Yes, all final images are professionally retouched and edited. This includes color correction and enhancement, skin retouching, and other adjustments as needed to ensure that your photos look their best. All colors remain true-to-life and bold.
You will be emailed a link to your online gallery. All of your final photos will be available to you via digital download with printing and sharing rights. Galleries do not expire. Custom flash drives are available a la carte.
No. This one is non-negotiable. RAW files are very dull, require special programs to even open, and the final images (which I invest hours in perfecting) are the art that you are paying me for.
We shoot with Canon camera bodies (R5, R6, 5D Mark IV x 2) and Canon and Sigma Art lenses. All lighting equipment is Godox brand.
Engagement sessions are an included feature to all wedding packages - they do not hold a cash value. Even if you have already had engagements photos taken or you simply do not feel like it is something that you need, I still encourage all of my couples to take advantage of this session. It is a great opportunity for couples to get comfortable in front of my camera and with my style of shooting... and it is just a lot of fun! I also encourage couple to include all pets and children in these sessions when possible!
I used to offer multiple tiered packages based on the amount of hours of coverage needed - that is a very standard practice amongst wedding photographers and definitely has its benefits. I, however, got completely fed up with driving home from weddings thinking about all of the things I didn't get to capture for my couples because of time constraints. My little artist heart is fully invested in capturing thee entire wedding day and every detail and fleeting moment possible.
I understand there are couples that don't feel the need for getting ready photos or just only want basic formal shots, etc, and I completely respect that decision - it's your day, you need to do what YOU want. I am just probably not the right photographer for those couples.
I also understand that weddings are SO. DAMN. EXPENSIVE. so sometimes it comes down to a budget thing. I offer payment plans to try help make it workable for all my couples and create custom packages for intimate weddings and elopements.
At the end of the day, if you LOVE the photos you see on this site, do not hesitate to shoot me a text or an email to see if there is something we can figure out for your big day.
This is a loaded question. The answer is yes and no. That helps, right? HA!
The YES : I do offer simple seamless backdrop sessions at my home in Warrington, PA. These can be for babies, families, headshots - whatever. Traditional studio lighting is used with a solid colored backdrop and you can bring whatever props you like.
The NO : I am not a studio photographer in the sense that I do not have an arsenal of props for setting up elaborately themed cake smash sessions or newborn sessions. The small collection of props I do own are things I have collected for taking pictures of my own sons. Clients ARE always welcome to use these things. Also - I am not a big wrapper of babies - my newborn sessions are done in-home.
I do not. It's just not my jam. I will always ALWAYS help you with picking outfits and accessories for your sessions based on YOUR vision, but I want everyone to feel like themselves, not picking items from a closet full of stuff I purchased because it is pretty. (SPOILER ALERT : I will recommend bright bold colors every single time.)
A Fresh 48 session takes place in the hospital before Mom and baby are released after birth.
Typically between 28-34 weeks but really anytime after your belly has really popped. Waiting too long poses the risk of baby coming before the scheduled session happens. (Ask my second son about this - he came at 35 weeks, 4 days before our scheduled Maternity Session. Womp womp.)
In-Home Lifestyle sessions offer a lot of flexibility with this. For mostly sleeping shots of baby at their tiniest 1-2 weeks old, for a mix of sleeping and awake shots 3-4 weeks old, and mostly awake photos 5-8 weeks old. If you are opting for a studio-style session, baby should be between 1-2 weeks old.
This is a type of Newborn Session that takes place in your home and focuses on your baby in their natural environment as well as the connection between your newest addition and the rest of the family - including siblings and pets.

I offer event coverage for parties of all kind - birthday, family, work, etc. Pre-prom coverage, bridal or baby showers - really anything where you want lots of canid moments captured as well as some posed shots, too.
